Ecseri Market

Ecseri is the largest second-hand market in Budapest with 16 500 square meters of stands and little treasures! Here you can find a lot of antiquities, some of them dating from World War II or from the Communist era. But you can also find some books and magazines, somes toys, some old clothes, jewelry, watches or fashion accessories, some coins and stamps... And a lot more!
Don't hesitate to bargain with the sellers, they someties overprice their products ;)

It is located in the South of Budapest, in the area of Kispest, and here are some useful information about it:
Opening days and hours:
Monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday and friday from 08 am to 4 pm
Saturday from 6 am to 3 pm
Sunday from 8 am to 1 pm

PeCsa (or Petofi Csarnok) Market

Located in the park of Varosliget, the PeCsa market is a great place to go during the weekend to find some nice antiquities, porcelains, old magazines and books, and a lot of toys!
It is a very big area (although not as big as Ecseri) and it is sure that you will find something nice!
And don't forget, Christmas is coming so don't miss the opportunity to find some really nice gifts :)
